  • who need post or pre-hospital transition care after surgery or the like
  • University students living away from home for the first time
  • anyone living and working on their own as a security check in
  • need short term respite from their role as carers
  • are support organizations which provide in home care

Care Calls was initially designed with seniors in mind, but we quickly discovered that people of all ages have a need for our service. Among those who find our service useful are: seniors, disabled individuals, people with chronic health issues, older adults living alone with pets, people grieving the recent loss of a partner or companion. Carers who visit patients, retirement home residents, family members who want to go on vacation and need a backup plan.

Do I Need to purchase any Expensive equipment or add-ons

CareCallingNow requires no specialised expensive equipment or add-ons your normal landline phone handset or hands free will be fine

Do I need to replace my existing landline?

No, you can keep your existing Landline telephone and provider. CareCallingNow requires no specialised your landline phone handset or hands free will be fine

What if I change my provider

The only disruption to your CareCallingNow service will be if there is a delay in the changeover, check with the new supplier. The only time is if you change location and your phone number changes then you will need to notify us asap via admin@carecallingnow.com

 

Are there any Special Installation Requirements

NO – existing telephone and provider will be fine.

Where are you located and can you call anywhere?

Care Calling Now is located in Nevada. Our service is available internationally.  We can call anywhere!

Can I use a Mobile Phone

Yes but it needs to kept charged and available at all times (may incur extra charge in some countries)

Please Note – some elderly people may not understand how to use all functions on a mobile phone, in our case it will necessary to be able to access the key-pad.

To ensure the software doesn’t create a missed call the loved one receiving the call (our number calling in to your loved one can be clearly identified)
Rename the number as CareCallingNow  and when your loved one answers the call instruct them to bring up the key-pad so it’s ready to press the NUMBER KEY.

 

Can I have multiple contacts on file?

Absolutely! We actually recommend having at least two contacts on file. A contact can be a family member, friend, neighbor or care manager. If a client doesn’t have any of those, we recommend leaving the number to your building manager and/or local police department. We do recommend that one of the contacts be local, if possible

How long does the automated call last?

CareCallinNow  calls typically lasts around 15 to 20 seconds

What happens if a client doesn’t answer the phone?

If a client doesn’t answer the phone in  the prescribed manner, CareCallingNow will attempt to call them back two more times, a 15 minute delay between calls. If there is no response on the third attempt,  CareCallingNow will call the major alternate number, usually a neighbor or someone who lives nearby who can call by to make sure you are OK.  Should you have a second alternate number, away someone who lives nearby. CareCallingNow call them as well.
Should there be no answers / acknowledgements  from the previous series of calls the CareCallingNow simply call the customer or text (SMS) message. CareCallingNow also sends an email the designated contact informing them that we were unable to reach the client. That person is then responsible for making sure the loved one is OK.

If a client doesn’t answer the phone, we will attempt to call them back three times within the hour. If there is no response on the third attempt, we will then call the alternates as per registration information if these do not answer then an email or SMS will be sent to the designated contact informing them that we were unable to reach the client or the nominated alternates.

What happens when CareCallingNow rings the alternate number?

CareCallingNow Service will ring, if no response to previous 3 calls(to loved one) The major alternate number, then (call four) will be made to nominated contact. Usually a neighbor or someone who lives close by and who can check on the loved easily and so on until all contacts are exhausted

No one at the alternate number answers

Should there be response (no answers / acknowledgements)  from the previous series of calls the CareCallingNow service the customer has the option of a call or be left sent text (SMS) message.

CareCallingNow also sends an email the designated contact informing them that we were unable to reach the client.
That person is then responsible for making sure the loved one is OK.

What happens when the client doesn’t respond/answer the phone in the designated way?

When a client doesn’t answer the phone, or push the required key, CareCallingNow will attempt to call back the client TWO more times within the hour. Should there be no response on the third attempt, the alternates will be called

If you feel unwell and you have already picked up the call do not make a response (DONOT PUSH ANY KEY) Care Calling Now Service will continue and first alternate to answer will come to check on you

What If You Detect A Problem During The Call?

All calls are require the internet and phone lines to be working  CareCallingNow will attempt calls on resumption  of services

How do I know the calls were made?

Logs are kept of all calls Email customercare@carecallingnow.com for copy of your log

Can you email a family member with regular updates?

Sure. Upon request, we can provide daily or weekly status email status updates to a family member or designated contact after calling the client. Otherwise, we will only email/call if there is a problem or concern

How many family members and friends (responders) do I need to take my calls?

We recommend a minimum of 2 alternate numbers. It is at your discretion you could have two, or even only one, especially where the person/s are always contactable at a certain phone number ….more than two will incur a extra charge

How is a automated system calling service better than an live-person?

Automated systems can be best in many certain situations, as there is no inference in the privacy, trust or security of the individuals. Don’t have to have a discussion but still becomes part of a routine

How do we pay?

CareCallingNow accepts major credit cards via Paypal and Stripe all through secure gateways our site meets the SSL or Https:// protocols

How does billing work?

The billing is monthly on the anniversary date of your sign up. Billing is a monthly automated billing system generated by our partner software. The amount is the same as the signup amount to the same credit card you used at signup unless upgrading.

What Is Your Refund policy?

We offer no-questions-asked refunds to all clients within 30 days of your purchase. If you are not satisfied with our service, then simply send us an email and we will refund your purchase right away. Our goal has always been to create a happy, thriving community. If you are not thrilled with the service or are not enjoying the experience, then we have no interest in forcing you to stay an unhappy member of our community

Can I Upgrade or Downgrade My Plan?

Yes, you can upgrade at any time after signing up. When you log in as a “personal” subscriber, you will see a notice regarding your current package and instructions on how to upgrade.

When can I change the my plan

Best time to change your plan is on the anniversary on the signup date If outside this date the new plan starts from that date.
